Feeding Ducks With Grandpa!

With Nick out of town this past weekend, I took half days from work, so the boys and I were able to meet Grandpa down at Creekside for brunch...after we ate, we took some leftovers to the ducks, but ducks apparently don't like Grady's french fries, and Grady's toss ain't the greatest, so alot of fries just ended up on the rocks...I'm sure the birds eventually found those gems!

Park Time!!

I took Grady and Chase to our little neighborhood park, and it was such a nice time for us! It was an impromtu trip, but I'm so glad we went, because we had such a nice time! Chase loved his first time on the swings! And I couldn't believe Grady was a BIG boy, and wanted to swing all on his own! He didn't even want me to spot him!

This boy had NO problem figuring this out! Feeding Chase was an absolute joy, and I have a feeling he won't be a picky eater :)

Mother's Day

For me,

Motherhood is the final repair...What was broken in the past is once again made whole; what was subtracted has been added back again.

Gymboree Birthday

What a WONDERFUL 2nd birthday for Grady!!! We had a kids party at Gymboree, and Grady really loved it!!! Grady is definitely what I call "hot & cold", where you never know what you're going to get when he's out & about...sometimes it's sugar, sometimes it's spice, pepper, chili powder & a little garlic mixed all together...So I hoped he would be on board with this party, and he was!!! He even got involved in opening gifts, which was never really his thing till now! Uncle Scott made the birthday cake, from scratch of course, and it was delicious! I relished in being surrounded by all my friends with their kids, and couldn't help but think about how these same friends and I used to be the kids running around at the birthday parties...priceless.

Birthday BBQ!

We celebrated Nick's 31st (!), and Grady's 2nd (!) birthday with a family BBQ, and it was a beautiful day. The stars aligned, and everyone enjoyed burgers, chicken & of course some birthday cake! Thought this was also a great night to get out the T-ball set we got Grady for Xmas, and it was an instant success!

Happy Easter!!

What a long day Easter turned out to be!! Aghhhh!!! Great morning at church, beautiful weather, Easter Egg hunt & food at Tina's=Good times! Grady did not get this memo...all was well until we got to Gram's, and Grady had a slow meltdown as the day progressed....needless to say, bedtime could not come soon enough :) Grady passed out in our bed with me at 8pm, and Nick put him in his bed at 10pm...enjoy the pics!
