Growing Boy!

Chase has really started to become such a big boy! He's been working so hard with learning how to use scissors, and he concentrates so hard!
Uncle Scott got these building blocks for Chase for Christmas, and I came downstairs to find that Chase had lined them all up with the right sizes/colors grouped together...I was so proud of the little guy!

Happy Valentine's Day!

These little gifts were out for breakfast time! Just some little trains, etc. Just something cute to make them feel the love from mommy & daddy!
Grady in his "Heartbreaker" t-shirt...they had a Valentine's party in his YMCA class, so he needed to look festive!
Captain Heart Break! This shirt came with a cape & everything! Chase of course LOVED all the candy he got at the party :) Needless to say, he came home very sticky!
Chase got a card in the mail from Gram, and wanted us to read it over & over! He even napped with it! Thanks Gram!

The SUN!!!!

We've come to the point where sunny & 36 degrees is basically a day at the beach! This winter has been so BRUTAL, so I took the chance I had to get the boys some fresh air. The next day it was freezing, and the day after that it snowed, so I was glad I this!
Chase on the climbing wall. Can't believe both boys are able to conquer the playground with no "spotting" from mommy.
Chase has always loved to swing...it's his favorite thing to do on a playground.
Glad to have some sun hitting that pale skin! Vitamin D please!
We were the ONLY ones at the park most of the visit, so this is one of those times I'm so glad they have each other to play with!
I call this the "Friendship Rock". Since it's Friendship Park, and this big rock sits right where you walk in. I try to get a picture here when I can...We were pretty cold by now!

37 Weeks!!

Fully formed!!! We've made it to the point where this guy is healthy & ready to arrive! Now is just the waiting game!!! EXCITED!

Schooled

Every afternoon, while Chase sleeps, I've been doing preschool, and now Kindergarten, worksheets with Grady to work on his skills. We also practice his address, phone number, etc. BUT, I decided it was time for Chase to start his own worksheets, so I bought a new preschool book for him, and we've started working daily as well.
Chase loves feeling like a big boy!
Here Grady is writing his alphabet out on paper.
Chase was very proud of his coloring skills.
Both just doing coloring after their worksheets

36 Weeks!

This is one BIG bump!!

Swim Lessons

Both boys are in separate swim classes at the YMCA, and they are loving it! It's nice to be able to have a place to go & swim when it's ridiculously cold/snowy outside.
Grady's class has a little more independence with their swimming, and they swim from one end of the pool to the other with their noodles.
Chase's class is more about teaching swimming basics & being comfortable in the water. Here Chase is holding a pole that he slowly goes down, and eventually puts himself under water & crawls back up. He loved it-I think he thought he was a fireman :)
