Happy Sunday!

Took this pic of Nick and Chase...thought it was too cute. My dad bought those overalls for Grady when he was born, and now Chase has evident proof that he has to wear hand-me-downs...but he wears them so well!

Grady has been his working his letters like a champ! I'd love to take all the credit, but he has been learning his letters from "Super Why" on PBS which focuses on letters, words & reading...it's his favorite show after "Sid" and "Elmo" (a.k.a. Sesame Street).

Just Remember I Was Here First

Big brother Grady has decided this little seat I use for Chase is a really nice spot to eat a vanilla wafer & watch TV...his little hiney can barely fit in it, but he has managed to make it work!

BIG BOY!!

Chase is growing so fast...tear...He is smiling & "talking" these days...just want to smooch that little face!!

Slumber Party!!

While Nick was out of town this past week I decided to let Grady bunk with me...I knew going into it that I may be in for a heap of trouble, but I think we were both feeling a little "clingy" so I did it anyway...The picture above with Grady laying peacefully with his "pop pop", a.k.a. pacifier, and his "blank", a.k.a. blankie, lasted all of 10 minutes before he got hyped up & was bouncing all over the bed...soooo...slumber party canceled! Back to the crib!! He didn't care though, so it was all good.

Learning Curve!

Gram (Tina) got Grady these blocks, and after totally destroying (!) the box they came in, he is really enjoying stacking them, and then running full force to knock them all down! They are alphabet blocks with pictures, and he is really mastering his letters, so this proud mama keeps working on them each and every day! Toddler Storytime at the library for the first time this week!
