Bounce Baby Bounce!
We went to one of my oldest friend's, Amanda's, birthday party this past Saturday, and Grady had a blast trying out Amanda's parents trampoline. I was nervous at first because those darn things can be kind of dangerous, but Grady LOVED it, and the other kids were really good about being really tame with the jumping when the smaller kids were in there. He was in a diaper only b/c the sprinkler was going, so he cooled off from those almost 100-degree temps in style!

Pool & Pizza!
Water tunnel...Grady thought the kids were playing w/him...but they weren't.
Navigating in his big boy way!
Thursday night was an impromtu trip to the New Albany Pool...After Nick got home from work, it was still so hot outside, and it's only $4 after 4pm, so we decided to head out for an evening at the pool...which turned out to be a blast! You can order a pizza right to the pool, so we took advantage of that (no cooking for me, and Grady ate 2 HUGE slices!). Perfect summer night!

Who's That Boy!
More from July 4th
You would think I just "captured" this...but Grady is really starting to ham it up for
the camera! He says "cheese!" and everything!

We enjoyed the 4th of July by starting off the day going to church, and what is a rare event, I actually didn't go back to work after church, and I got to come home & hang with the family! After naps we headed with Uncle Scott to Gram's pool, and we had a great time there swimming on a PERFECT, sunny day (first 4th in a loooooong time with no rain). We came back to our house with Scott & Gram and ate City BBQ & topped that off with some of Scott's homemade ice cream! Great 4th!

Happy 4th of July!!
This is from our Gahanna 4th of July parade! We had a nice time hanging with Jeff, Lauren, Samantha & our neighbors. The parade itself is a little lame (what happened to all the actual floats? And why is it just a bunch of politicians?), but Grady did like seeing the firetrucks, and just the general "newness" of the event was fun for him...Chase just watched the world go by as usual!
