It's A Gymboree Day!!

Ever since I had Chase, Dad has been taking Grady to Gymboree every Thursday while I stay home with Chase...This week Chase and I went to watch & take some pictures for Grady's 2 year dvd that I make to archive his life each year...Year 2 is in the books, so I can officially say I have documented his WHOLE life...talk to me when he's 20, and we'll see if my archiving skills are superior...Gymboree is like Disney World to a toddler who has never been to Disney World, so "Poppy" got really lucky being the one who gets to take Grady to his favorite place...I guess this would make Dad the Ambassador of Fun in our house...I just loved watching the little guy just be little, innocent & full of life!!

Beautiful Thursday!

The weather was soooooo amazing on my days off, and I really got to enjoy lots of time outside with the boys. Dad took Grady to Gymboree that morning, so I was able to start the day with a long mother/son walk with little Chase...he fell fast asleep in the stoller with the warm sun on his little puggy-self. I started the process of spring-cleaning the porch & back deck, while Grady entertained himself exploring the yard that afternoon...Chase sat & watched, and I bet prayed to be old enough to be running around with Grady! Tina also watched the boys that night so I could play cards with some friends, so it was overall a great day!

St. Patty's Fun!!

Completely wore the boys out today!!! We played all morning, and then we headed up to Polaris to have dinner with Uncle Scotty, and then we headed over to the mall where Grady played in the kids play area for an hour and a half!! They both slept like angels that night (I think Uncle Scotty probably slept like one too!). P.S. I totally forgot it was St. Patrick's Day, so none of us had on our green...my bad.

Grady's still favorite toy...he's gotten REALLY good at figuring out how to stack them in proper order too! Whenever he gets to one he knows is the wrong size, he tells the block "no".

Took this pic of Nick and Chase...thought it was too cute. My dad bought those overalls for Grady when he was born, and now Chase has evident proof that he has to wear hand-me-downs...but he wears them so well!

Grady has been his working his letters like a champ! I'd love to take all the credit, but he has been learning his letters from "Super Why" on PBS which focuses on letters, words & reading...it's his favorite show after "Sid" and "Elmo" (a.k.a. Sesame Street).

Big brother Grady has decided this little seat I use for Chase is a really nice spot to eat a vanilla wafer & watch TV...his little hiney can barely fit in it, but he has managed to make it work!
